Lisbon-Porto Tour with Stops in Óbidos, Nazaré, Mealhada and Buçaco!
A complete journey between Lisbon and Porto, exploring medieval villages, Atlantic landscapes and natural treasures along the way.
This tour takes place between Lisbon and Porto, a very common journey for those visiting Portugal, but here transformed into an enriched experience full of discoveries. The idea is to make the most of the route to visit fascinating locations such as the Medieval Castle of Óbidos, the fishing village of Nazaré with its giant waves and the Buçaco National Forest, with a break for lunch to enjoy the famous Bairrada roasted suckling pig.
Meet your guide at your accommodation and begin the trip along the West Coast, one of the most beautiful yet lesser-known regions of Portugal. The first stop is the Óbidos Castle, one of the best-preserved medieval villages in the country, where you will taste the traditional Ginjinha de Óbidos, stroll through the narrow streets and even walk along the old walls.
The tour continues to Nazaré, a fishing village that gained worldwide fame thanks to the giant waves of Praia do Norte, where several world surfing records have been set. The visit includes the S. Miguel Arcanjo Fort, the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Nazaré and the panoramic viewpoint at Sítio da Nazaré.
Next, the tour heads to Mealhada to enjoy the famous Bairrada roasted suckling pig, a regional delicacy. Before reaching Porto, there is one more stop at the Buçaco National Forest, one of Portugal’s most beautiful hidden gems, for a walk through the forest and a visit to the Buçaco Palace and Fonte Fria. After this final visit, the journey continues to your accommodation in Porto. A guided tour of Porto can also be arranged with the guide for the following day.
