Berlenga Island Boat and Kayak Adventure

Join us on a full-day adventure to Berlenga Island, a natural paradise just 40 minutes from Lisbon. This experience combines a scenic boat ride, a guided walk around Berlenga Grande, kayaking through natural sea caves or an alternative glass-bottom boat tour.
We begin by heading to the coastal town of Peniche, where we board the boat to the island. The crossing is stunning and dolphins can often be spotted along the way.
Upon arrival, we explore the island’s natural landscape, learning about its wildlife, vegetation and the many shipwrecks that contributed to its legendary history. We continue to the São João Baptista Fort before choosing between kayaking around the caves or touring them in a glass-bottom boat.
There is time for a beach picnic and a refreshing swim in the clear Atlantic waters.
Before returning to Lisbon, we explore Peniche’s coastline, including Peniche Fortress, Cabo Carvoeiro and Baleal Beach, ending a day filled with adventure and natural beauty.
