With over 100 years of history, Poças is one of the few Port wine producers that was founded in Portugal and remains in the hands of the same family, now in its fourth generation. Internationally renowned for its aged Tawny Port wines, Poças has also been producing high-quality DOC Douro wines for more than three decades.

During this guided tour of the Poças wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, you will immerse yourself in the warm and authentic family atmosphere of the house, experience the distinctive aromas of aging wines and observe the daily routines of a working wine cellar where tradition meets innovation.

The Visitor Centre, open to the public since 2016 and fully renovated in 2018 by architects Lúcia Vaz Pato and António Mota, offers a modern and welcoming environment. Awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, the space welcomes thousands of visitors each year.

The experience includes a guided tour of the cellars followed by a curated wine tasting. Each participant may choose different tasting options within the same session, making this experience flexible and suitable for different preferences.
